    So Ac…
    How is it that you refer to most others as ‘Sir’……and to your loyal supporter Bush T- as Bush Shit…? Can’t you see that Bushie is on YOUR side? ..that Bushie appreciates the VITAL role that you play here on BU?

    Do you think that ANY rational person out there could POSSIBLY accept that our leaders could be so asinine and clueless …without your constant, imbecilic reminders?
    Indeed, your most convincing and revealing attribute is the fact that you actually seem to think that you are making sense….. Wahhhhhh!!! LOL ha ha ha

    What a “Froon-like” characteristic…..

    Keep up the good work child.
    Thanks largely to you, Bajans will NEVER be able to say that they were unaware of the idiocy of our leaders when we all fall off the cliff…

    From the time I heard Dr. Delisle Worrell said the Medium Term Fiscal and Medium Term Development Strategies (2010 – 2014) FAILED to ACHIEVE the DESIRED OBJECTIVES and Dr. David Estwick subsequently admitting the DLP’s POLICIES are RESPONSIBLE for Barbados’ dire economic situation, while offering alternative solutions, which his party has REFUSED to ACCEPT, I was convinced “de dog did done dead.”

    And what is more puzzling is the DEMS continually asking critics to “bring solutions,” yet Estwick had to PUBLICLY BEG his party for an AUDIENCE to DISCUSS his alternative proposals.

    Similarly to how the consortium of yard-fowls would have us believe public scrutiny would scare away investors, I doubt people would be lining up to give the DLP “solutions,” especially knowing they REJECTED solutions from one of their own.

    It is a KNOWN FACT that EVERY PROBLEM has a SOLUTION.

    Over the past 8 years, the DLP has found it necessary to BLAME and CRITICIZE from “Sam Couch and the Duppy” to the man on the “Cream of Wheat” box for their FAILURE to DEVELOP VIABLE ECONOMIC SOLUTIONS to address the economic difficulties currently affecting Barbados.

    Since the DLP continues to FAIL in this regard, likewise “word on the street………THE DLP HAS NO SOLUTIONS, but have a treasure trough of criticism (especially against those who REMIND them of this FACT), which have been heard over and over again.”

    All the voters have to remember is that they will be the ones arrested for selling votes…the ministers, their pimps and yardfowls will not be arrested for selling votes, unless the voters use their digital devices and record the crime.

    Fruendel and Nitwit Adriel said they witnessed vote buying by politicians last elections…it’s up to the voters to prove those 2 were not lying.

In his column which thankfully lacked the convoluted reasoning he is known for Wickham labeled Commisong a jackass for wanting to stop the Hyatt project that ticks all the win boxes.

    We as a people are duty bound to resist the wrongs of economic injustice thrust on us by the Bizzy/Cow circle. At the same time we cant permit misguided trouble makers to block jobs, wealth creation and economic progress for poor black people.

Wunnah realise dat de people in de drivers seat for both the economy and the society had de bus in reverse since 2008?

    Wunnah realise dat most of the blame for dis state of affairs must rests with the management style and ineptness FS and that CS, even though he tried his best, was in way above his head?

    Hal Austin,

    Your 7.51 am, August 13, 2016 BU submission is very applicable to many circumstances here in Barbados.

    Imagine that this particular blog has been put out to allow for submissions and posts by persons on the subject of Barbados currently existing in a state of political economic wilderness and yet some persons could not resist the temptation to submit and post comments that are irrelevant to the topic of the blog.

    We in the PDC would have thought that, with our country facing the reality of becoming a second rate Third World jurisdiction in the not too distant future, there would have been streams of comments tenoring references to intellectal and social disposition and matter pointing to the entire or substantial reactivating, reproducing, reordering and redistributing of growth and development of the national material and financial sectors of this country.

    But no!! There has been this said noxious irrelevant and regurgitated froth and spume, and which the PDC has long associated with that intellectually and politically backward, bankrupt and constipated farce for a leader of the BLP Opposition, Mia Mottley, almost every time she provides or has been reported as providing comments on national political economic and financial matters concerning this country.

    “Barbados is trapped in an economic wilderness yet the BU organized yard fowl brigade deliberately protests against all foreign investors who bring capital to help the island out of the wilderness. Shaking my head in disbelief.”
    ……………………………………………..

    Nobody disputes the fact that Barbados needs foreign investments.

    What we do have to consider is how is it that with every potential investment, there is so much cloud over each one…………

    ………….it is either that the investors are given every concession that the investor thought up that would benefit his pocket like 40 years of freeness…..

    ………….it is either that the potential investors are corrupt who use their wealth to buy politicians…..

    ………….or it is either like a phony investor like Clare Cowan

    It is fair to conclude that like attracts like………. a whataspp message seems to have been sent to every shady character who has ill gotten wealth that Barbados is now the place to invest and rake in millions, You can get every concession you want, you can rape the taxpayers of Barbados while the visionless gullible politicians in charge of the government will put the taxes on the locals and you will smile all the way to what ever hole you come from.

    That’s right, musing, this reality is enough to make all Barbadians shake their heads in disbelief that the morons they elected are such jackasses who can be bought, who came into government broke but are now so wealthy.

    Sorry, I have been watching the Olympics and catching up on some reading.

    I did not get a chance to post too much today.

    Earlier today I was looking at a post here and saw that Colonel Buggy, a real real soldier, used the NATO phonetic alphabet to subliminally curse David estwick in hie poster on the Barbados water authority

    Civilians have difficulty understanding things that we military people take for granted in the chain of command structure or what your minister of edukashun WeJonesing and de depeiza girl incorrectly called sedition and treason.

    We in Barbados are at war for the very fabric of our society against the very worst government that Barbados has ever known, the Demonic Lying Party but Barbados Underground has assembled an “army” THAT IS WORKING ASSIDUOUSLY TO DEFEAT YOU SWINE, IN SUCH A MANNER THAT WE WILL NOW HAVE TO GUARD AGAINST THE TOTAL WHITEWASH THAT IS COMING FOR THE DLP.

    WUNNA GOING EVEN LOOSE ST JOHN AND NO SORT OF MONEY BRIBES GOIND SAVE WUNNA SCVUNT

    That is what the battle involves, not mercenaries nor ak47s and executions of dissenters, but reasoned speech, focused conversations, passionate discourse about our issues and solutions.

    These are part of the rules of law and order that we, notwithstanding your Dimwits Bratwit and Fumbles trying to hoodwink the peeple with the immigration fingerprint scam to get the money from Murica, this is what we are using, the power of the pen to equalize the imbalance

    I have no power on Barbados Underground. I comment, like everyone else has, The Gazer, Bush Tea and others but you single out de ole man for your own reasons, which we both know what they are. you only have yourself to thank for those “Stoopid campaigns”.

    I shed no tears for the loss of your colleague in arms Sand Nigger and if what you are hinting is true, it is the best news that one could have.

    we have one objective here, to take our country back from you dufuses or anyone who seeks to disrupt the stability of our nation.

    I want you to take a step back to examine what the man whom you refer to as speckled fowl is doing by this Blog

    Nine years, running a website using a model which does not have advertising to support the costs of operations, to be insulted for whatever reason you may want to call him that, to be called all sorts of names by others, to experience the paranoia of de loose madmenses and the certifiable, like me and you.

    That is a big chunk out of your life you don’t get back, and again The question is what for?

    He tolerated her long, real long. And she was warned, A number of times, about five which I counterpart before anyone else even spoke about her style and so he dun her up, so what?

    Let me ammmm get to the crux of the matter.

    David King does not kowtow to the BU family, he is driven by nation building and, when it comes to de rules of de BU household, his is the final rule, whu wrong wid dat?

    Barbados Underground is disrupting wunna ting and wunna fear whu de ole man predict gine happen because of its strength and its outreach and its impact.

    Wunna noticing the echolalia in the news media, that the Nstion and The Advocate and Barbados Today now doing de same ting tuh keep dem readership.

    All is important for the DLP is to sit with their … in their silver Mercedes and enjoy the free ride – typical behaviour of post-colonial Wabenzis.

    In Bim you pay for the worst products 150 % more than in developed countries – and the DLP calls that “progress”. I call it serfdom. You pay like in Norway and Switzerland and get shit in return.

    Wow, Jerry Stuart, it takes no 10 years of free tertiary education to figure out how the true status of Bim is. Look at our “competitors”: Southern Italy. Ever been in Napoli? They burn their rubbish on the street. Surely, we get that next as Jerry´s progress. Ever been in Greece? Suicide rate is rocking, credit crunch, austerity, Troika dictatorship etc pp.

    However, some of the worst wrong decisions go back several decades. Look at the very low productivity in Bim and the big salary increases before 2008. If salaries were in line with productivity, no public servant should earn more than 2,500 BBD per month. Look at the ministerial and judicial hydrocephalus. Look at the very big government buildings for this island.

    While I have no authority to say the following, I wish to apologize on behalf of the democratic labour party for its failure to get to the number one position in this instance. They are leaders of one of the happiest and most successful countries in the world and have worked diligently over the past seven years to see to it that Barbados is a world leader. After leading the Caribbean for so many years and being the country that other looked to for leadership it is extremely disappoint to the democratic labour party to have failed in securing this number one position. Be assured that this failure will not deter the party of choice from pursuing the enviable targets of sanitation, health, education, finance, housing, ease of doing business etc.

    Today, the People’s Democratic Congress (PDC) continues with its national flyer campaign against Mia Mottley ever becoming any prime minister of any government of this country.

    As it stands, Mottley, intellectually and politically speaking – is the worst Opposition Leader in the post-independent political history of Barbados.

    She has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of substance to offer the people of Barbados.

    For, those persons who have not as yet been aware of this campaign, which has been itself going on for several weeks now – this campaign has at its center the political education of the average recipient of the flyer, by the propounding – for their benefit – of five reasons (and there are others) why Mottley must NEVER EVER be allowed by the broad masses and middle classes of people of Barbados to become any prime minister of any government of Barbados.

    The five reasons are:

    (1) She FAILED massively to stop many of the fiascoes and scandals (GEMS, Greenland, NHC Warrens Offices, the Silver Sands Beach Bath Facility, etc), and the endemic corruption and squandermania that was involved, when part of the Cabinet of the government of Barbados from 1994 – 2008;

    (2) She has FAILED to be part of any great causes for the sustained upliftment and betterment of the people of this country, especially women, vendors, minibus operators, the landless, disabled, etc;

    (3) She has FAILED miserably to produce a vision, a cosmology, blueprint for the further growth and development of Barbados, in spite of her having been a supposed but weak intellectual light in the BLP;

    (4) She has FAILED continuously to use her political office to fight against countless imperialist designs and forces in our midst, despite the many threats and encroachments that have been made by such forces on our society;

    (5) She has FAILED ostensibly to understand the unchallengeable God-given right of men that have been called upon by God to lead ALL societies including Barbados.

    The flyer concludes by stating that given “these and other dire failings by Miss Mottley, it is very clear that Mottley remains ABSOLUTELY intellectually and politically unqualified to become prime minister of any government of this country”.

    So far this national flyer campaign has been a resounding success, with thousands of people that we have come in contact with indicating that they ABSOLUTELY, WHOLLY reject the notion of Mia Mottley becoming any prime minister of the government of Barbados, and promising NOT to vote for any BLP candidates – including herself – in the next election.

    So far her effort to rebrand and reimage herself was not taken seriously because she has used the kind of political hattricks to attack and divide a country at its weakest instead of having the presence of mind to indulge and promote herself as a exceptional leader.

Sanitation will not be given a financial lifeline as that is to be privatised immediately after budget to Bjerkhamn and Malonely so it must be kept financially constrained to both justify its sale while ensuring the lowest price possible is paid.

    Some people on this island pay already 1,000 dollars road tax per year or even more –

    Road Tax? You mean taxes collected to ensure our roads are kept in usable condition? We haven’t had Road Tax in 8 years.

    What we have had is the systematic, institutionalised robbery of Bajan citizens in order to prop up a failing socialist state at any cost to keep unproductive people employed by said state in an a welfare system where performance and achievement are snuffed out for the comfort of the collective.

    Property tax? We don’t have that either. Anyone who paid property tax in the last eight years got any benefit for their property? Road-side maintenance has been privatised to the Maloney group.

    Too many tax spenders in this country, not enough taxable earners.

    We are a joke of a place. Stinkliar Nero trying to balance the shop books while the building burns.

To think of how docile we have become in letting a pack of morons dictate how much of our earning we can keep is the ultimate in kowtowing to the school yard bully. Two more years of this? Every one of them should be scorned and ridiculed whenever seen in public. If they attend an even where you are present there should be a walkout in total. Minister sponsoring an event – don’ go. Minister in line at the supermarket – join another line. Minister attending a military or police parade – don’t attend. If you are at church and one of them should attend the same service – get up and leave (the Almighty will understand). A simple act like turning your backs to any one of these lepers whenever they present themselves in public will send the message that they are scorned. (They will be dealt with after elections and are no longer protected by the authorities).

    Much easier than that. Tell your employer tomorrow you want to change your status to ‘self-employed contractor’. And take charge of your financial affairs. No more NIS, PAYE etc. to come out of your earnings, just cash at the end of the week/month. Then YOU decide what to do with your money, what taxes and social contributions to pay etc.

    Gov’t depends on good corporate citizens’ taxes to support their corrupt system and good corporate citizens’ biggest contribution after import taxes is the money they take on behalf of gov’t from their employees. The system would collapse in a month.

    @Frustrated …

    Indeed, we do not get any benefits for taxation. Isn´t “benefit for taxation” even more important than “no taxation without representation”?

    Cash: You need foreign sources to survive in Bim.
    Health: You need foreign insurance and access to foreign health care to survive here.
    Roads: You need a heavy SUV or a truck to drive around Bim without havoc.
    Schools: You need to send your children to private schools to avoid the known problems.
    Security: You need an alarm and bars to secure yourself.
    University: You need your children to send abroad to northern and central Europe where tertiary education is free.

    So, where is the need for a state taxing people?

    This country was on a fairly good way until that guy from London came into office.

    Barbados is a BOMB that was dropped from 30,000 just waiting for full impact , lies and crooks will never add up to nothing good, To many ministers and lawyers naked in a snake pit looking to type up the next lie to sell to the people, The World already knows the truth,The people are stuck in party mode, in the street parties and the Parties clubs of the DBLP.

    When the truth comes out about Barbados Ministers and Lawyers we will jump to Number One over night,
    A test tube of the New World Order , As some cant not seem to connect Sir Allen Stanford and Madoff , Barbados the Oval and the 2007 games,That was only the start of the light to what was going on for 30 years, Barbados is in its own 30 year cycle of fraud now showing live on the internet , June 1986 to June 2016 , You can not make this stuff up,

    Usain Bolt is forcing money into Jamaica, Rihanna could do the same for Barbados but there are certainly differences between the two countries and certainly those two celebrities, Usain Bolt and Rihanna
