It is interesting when the environmental engineer was asked what experience he has of building a gasification plant he mentioned the one of similar scale (1,000 tones) being built in the UK.

Barbados could not even manage the evironmental issues/standards of the piss-ass little Mobil oil refinery at Needham’s (up to today the site is still contaminated) and now proposes a WTE project?
David take sometime an produce some photos for the BU family of the Teeside Plasma Gasiification project so they can appreciate the scale and complexity of such a project. -

Airproducts ran the job
AlterNrg the guys who supplied the gasifer had little to do with the construction. they didn’t even warranty the refractory in the gasifier and had NO involvement the monster duct at the top of the gasifier
The jigsaw puzzle will have to be integrated by the chosen EPC contractor
Which we can only assume has not been chosen yet
Yet crazy clare says construction will start in September -
The site specific EIA will be started in July. How can the build start in September of the EIA had to be done?

Who are the investors behind this phantom WTE project?
It will never get off the ground unless financing is secured. Why are the proponents of the WTE not discussing the financing plans and agreements?
Has the government received any invoices so far for consultancy fees from Ms Cowan and her clique?

We have heard there is a signed agreement between Cahill and government the details which have been guarded by the NDA response. It is/will be up to the government to enforce.

All of this talk about getting Bajans to recycle, compose and separate garbage and public education is a fantasy, will never happen. Nothing ain’t more damaging to the environment than de dump at arch hall and yet de national trust ain’t protesting against that but they and de yard fowls protesting against a project they ain’t know nothing about and only going on what they hearing other people say. People do your own research on plasma grasification and look for de benefits rather than seeing all negative. Are we going to build this plant now and be leaders or wait 15 years when everybody else has one and then trying to catch up
