    I actually thought that you were part of Ma Money’s team strategy. Trying to label the Danny Gill team as BLP would not wash; members of the NUPW shall not fall for that nonsense. Furthermore, you and Ma Money know a lot about vote buying in elections.

    I know nothing about a volta Lowe team; I am hearing about a Danny Gill team. I do not even know who this sylvan greenidge is; maybe Caswell knows him. What is the difference if Volta is BLP or Ma Money, Margo and Icanni , Merlene Jones and Pam are all DLP? Is it a mortal sin to be associated with the BLP? Bt very righteous to be DLP. What about the constitution and people’s right to associated freely.

    the fact that u tried to humiliate Caswell who has not done anything but highlight the wrong going on at the NUPW, just shows that u are not a member but u are one of those persons, he is talking about, u are either deniss clarke, walter maloney, or someone involved in nasty behaviour, while u are pointing out to us what the NUPW has been doing, why not let its members know that the NUPW never negotiates with government over salary increases, it is the PM who lets u know how much he will give and then u fool ur members into believing that u are negotiating? why do u think that the younger civil servants are not joining the union? they have enough common sense to see that u do not ever work on behalf of any member except for personal interest…i once was a member, never will again.

    u stood by a watch the PM give himself, cabinet and top level civil servants a pay increase in 2012 retroactive 2007, the least some took home was $25,000 after taxes. u never once went to the PM on behalf of civil servants at the very bottom who must be suffering. people like urself are a total disgrace, at some point in time those civil servants will retire, will u have enough members them to sustain u? i doubt it

    the govt can refuse to contribute the 90 000 in the next fy.if there is no audited financial statement of the union for the last fy or if there is no proper account as to how the subvention for the last fy was used.

    SMOOTH CHOCOLATE–We haveseen in an earlier post where the stupid Sandra has agreed that there are others using the same computer ,in other words different names same person —we also know that last UNION elections that WALTER Mamoney and one of his side kicks Sophia Lowe was using NHC computers maybe this time they are using NUPW systems –but let all members know that WALTER ,DENIS ,Cedric AND Pam Humphrey has included in this year Budget FUNDS for additional staff to be imployed or promoted –I shall not say who they are now but just to say you be surprise who these persons are .
    I Was at NUPW today and was told that Denis has been in the Office telling staff that he perfer Waler to Danny -i was also told that when he was on sick leave that he received both the NIS payments and full salary from NUPW tell me if that is not corruption

    The results of the latest public opinion poll in the lead up to the NUPW elections will be published on Sunday 31st March, 2013.

    Those in the know have indicated that they is no “wobble” in this one……like we had in February 2013 in the lead up to E-Day.

    Your comment at 4:09 made a very serious allegation about Dennis Clarke receiving his full salary and also receiving NIS sickness benefits. Are you absolutely sure? This man is a member of the NIS BOARD.

    I can assure you that if the present NUPW executive change that government shall be taking a long look at that training fund. What is amazing is what has happenned to the NUPW. It depends on gov’t for rent; it depends on gov’t for training; Dennis loves to get finds from gov’t agencies to fly all about; Ma Money is chair of a constituency council; Ma Money used funds to support gov’t community programs.

    The latest news is that Cedric Murrel is no longer running for the post of 1st V.P. Some speculation is that Ma Money saw him as dead weight and dropped him. Another speculation is that he knew he shall lost to Manasseh King. Icanni is just hot air. The biggest question to the candidates is who shall cedric give that support at the airport to. Cedric brought home Ma Money with 52 votes in that box last time. Can he do it again by backing another candidate. This airport box is key to a Ma Money victory; any shift shall be devastating. Another question is whether the people at the Barbados Community College box shall support Ma Money overwhelmingly again. That box was also critical in his victory he got 46 votes to the opposition 9. Can Margo influence the BCC to vote as a block again this time. A shift away from Ma Money here too shall be devastating.

    The Office of Public Sector Reform is not going to achieve anything of note with the current Director, Michael Archer at the helm. He is only interested in getting his salary pegged at that of a Permanent Secretary. His latest request for such was by letter to the Head of the Civil Service dated 1st February, 2013. He is constantly in the news media trying to promote himself to get a PS salary.

    All the while , I am told by credible sources (indeed a tape recording as well), that he constantly remain in his office behind closed doors and tries to ‘sexually exploit” the female staff under his supervision. When they refuse his dastardly advances he seek to have them transferred.

    OPSR under his control is a hell hole. I note that Caswell Franklyn visits this site. It would be interesting to hear his take on OPSR and its functioning now that Senator Sandiford has added her voice to have change effected there.

    Now that NUPW elections are in the air it would be good to hear the candidates share their thoughts on these state of affairs in OPSR.

    The only people who expected public sector reform to go somewhere were those who were trying to sell ice and snow to the folks who live in the north. A reform system or process is set up and it is totally controlled by permanent secretaries who themselves need reforming. The Ps we have today are a bunch of political poppets dancing to the tune of any political sound. Even when they are appointed it makes no difference.

    All of them should be on contract; thereby giving the opportunity for them to return to their substantive posts when it is realized how incompetent they really are.

    You have analysed the problem well – INCOMPETENCE. Under the current Director of OPSR this is what is being displayed. Can you believe over by us at the Ministry of Housing , Mr. Archer called the Dep. PS and told her he will assist her staff in preparing procedural manuals. She quite rightly asked if he has staff trained in the area – HE LIED and said YES. When he sent one of his male officers to assist , the man was out to sea. The Dep. PS immediately called Mr. Archer and told him not to send back that officer – imagine Mr. Archer then tried to send another officer who had never produced a manual of any sort !

    When asked why is he compromising the image of OPSR and its staff in such manner – Mr. Archer unabashfully declared it is all about his IMAGE and intention to show his work and effort to help deserves a promotion to Permanent Secretary level.

    Yep , it pays to be INCOMPETENT !!

    I hear that Dennis the menace organized passes into the airport. This is cause for alarm because last elections Anthony Johnson, manager of the airport, refused passes for Ronnie Geaves-Thorpe and others. Is it true that guards at the airport cuss Ma Money and he ran from the airport panting. After tricking those airport workers, Ma Money returned to the scene of the lying crime only to be confronted by nuff cuss.

    Members remember APRIL 3, 2013; come out in your numbers and VOTE. Someone is telling me that this election shall end up in the courts. I hope not. The last election results had some far out boxes that could have been manipulated. When the Chief Electoral Officer Dennis the menace is the Chief Campaigner for Ma Money as Forbes Burnham told Errol Barrow after losing in the 1970s that election would not have been lost by this Camrade. Ma Money wins in specific boxes where there are little or no public servants; a word to the wise is sufficient for Dennis the Menace. Remember Den Den you shall be named singularly. Cell phones do work, as you would say “my friend”. Shall Den Den steal another one; we wait and see.

    Members look carefully at who is manning certain boxes. Ma Money won sanitation box which was manned by Den Den the menace; NUPW H’Q box where a mysterious 64 came to vote for Ma Money; BCC box where the only person known in B’dso is Ma Money 46 votes; six roads library where 36 mysterious people turn up to vote for Ma Money. These are the Den Den set up boxes. Get your cameras out. Den Den we also know about people voting for people after 4 pm your conspirators are speaking out.

    LEMUEL–I wrote on this blog a longtime ago that there was crooks working during that election to ensure that the Treasurer ,1ST,2RD and 3rdVice presidents did not win and that was acheived ,the only UNION or place in d world were people voted after elections were closed —
    Denis and Walter has back raised Cedric ,two crooks out smart d third crook ,last elections Cedric was talking good with Ronnie thorpe greaves but when all the fellows went to d airport CEDRIC and DENIS got their friend to refused them entry so they could not cancas . know one dog has turn on the next

    Update on NUPW Canvassing action. Yesterday, Ma Money and company were given a royal welcome at the airport. Today, the opposition was turned away because Joe Johnson said he could not accommodate them. Now Joe Johnson by virtue of Ma Money request would have known elections are on but Joe Johnson decided that his cawmere friend Ma Money MUST win.

    Candidates opposing Maloney must be very careful that this election is not stolen from them by the union allowing retired members to vote. Full membership of the union ceases on the termination of employment. Thereafter, a person is eligible for associate membership but somehow these persons are allowed to vote and at times skew the election. Forewarned is forearmed.

    What has me is that Joseph Johnson did the same thing last time and seems to think he can get away with it. This man is a boss; he banned Caswell from the airport, although Caswell has members there; now he is trying to ensure that no one other than Ma Money and his team speak to the workers there. This is a crucial box. But I hear Ma Money shall lose it this time; everywhere there seems to be the same refrain “we dun wid dah man Ma Money.”

    Caswell i do recall that last elections persons like Ulric Denny ,Errol Gay,Charles buddy skeete ,Cecil Drakes and myself voted all of the above voted for Walter except me because my son did say to us what was going on at the Union –Walter and Denis with the Cell phone and d $10000,dollars for his son ,
    Now walter and Denis has diss Drakes ,ANNEMARIE BURKE and Cedric Murrell–in the Murrell I am told that after DERECK ALLEYNE put some warm lashes on him last saturday about the Medicare -WALTER then said to the meeting ,that he had no part of it and threw Murrell under the bus –MMurrell has since drop out of the elections

    Caswell –ALL THREE TRUSTEE VOTED TOO AND YOU KNOW WHO THEY SURPORTED —CUTTING UP THE UNION PROPERTY AT DALKEITH AND SIGNING THE CONTRACT FOR BIDC AT NEWTON FOR A UNUSED BUILDING AT $500 PER MONTH .

    You are losing me here. What nonsense are you telling people on BU? Trustees are only empowered to act on a resolution of the National Council or a general meeting of members. When did any of those two bodies authorise cutting up the union’s property, in accordance with Rule 13 of the union’s Rules and Standing Orders. I smell something fishy here.

    I spoke to someone close to the person who accompanied Danny Gill to the airport. The person said that they were told that Mr. Gill and Mr. Bostic encountered a Mr. Green from the NUPW outside of Mr. Johnson’s office. Mr. Green was still there when both men came out after being denied access by Mr. Joseph Johnson who sent out his DECISION from a meeting via the receptionist on the phone.

    To the PRO of GAIA credit, Mr. Goddard, he did come and offered to place Mr. Gill’s team flyers on the notice boards inside. He cited the fact that the airport was a security area. But, obviously someone knew that an ELECTION WAS ON. They also knew that people normally come to canvass. Why was it necessary to be”clearing” groups according to what side of the bed Mr. Johnson got off of that morning.

    Right from the start of this campaign someone observed that ONLY MA MONEY AND HIS TEAM SHALL BE ALLOWED IN THE AIRPORT. But Johnson, there more than one way to skin a cat.

    LEMUEL -I wrotr that last election Ronnie Greaves-Thorpe and Manassah Kng suffer at hands of the same Johnson who allowed Mamoney and the crooked band to enter but denied the others -so after general elections when crooked Maloney went to the press talking about selling vote he knew what he was saying –i wrote on that —
    Caswell chek the UNION Financill statement for 2110 and you will see the note .

    I spoke to one of my members who was on duty when Maloney went to canvass. He assured me that Maloney was allowed free access. When I heard that others was not granted that privilege, I checked with Danny Gill who confirmed that he was not allowed access to canvass NUPW members.

    I have encountered similar problems, the management and board at the Airport only want to deal with Maloney and air-head Clarke because those two accept anything that is told to them without question.

    Is right of access by NUPW operatives in the context of the imminent elections discretionary or is there a right of access given that there is a bargaining unit at GAIA.

    None of the candidates have a right to access the Airport. Access is at the discretion of management. It is clear that management has demonstrated a preference for Maloney. There are comfortable with the incompetence that currently exists at NUPW.

    Caswell’s comment is interesting. Could it be that Johnson has been instructed by his DLP handlers only to allow the Ma Money team in. If that is the case poor Johnson only singing for his supper.
