According to the latest Cadres Poll, Freundel is out front. Wow!!! With that said, the DEMS must, therefore, press home the advantage as a result of our favourable showing.

However, I am somewhat sceptical about Wickham’s findings, that despite the fact that Freundel is ahead of Arthur, the DLP is still marginally trailing the Bees. I wonder if it is a case of who pays the piper, calls the tune! We all know the obvious bias of the Nation Group of companies. But, however you analyse the poll, it’s a body-blow for the Bees.

I am no political scientist, but I believe I have more than a modicum of common sense. It stands to reason, and rightly so, that if Freundel has surged ahead (in my humble opinion, he was ahead for some time) he would consequently bring along the DLP.

So, it must have been heart-wrenching for the Nation and the know-it-all Wickham, the avowed nemeses of the Prime Minister, to admit that Freundel Stuart is ahead of ‘Owing Arthur’ in their latest poll. Only last month, they were arguing it will be a landslide for their side. This must be a bitter pill for them to swallow.

The DLP cannot be attracting MASSIVE crowds at every turn, and still be trailing. Look at the West Terrace meeting. The struggling Bees said we had only 4,000 last Friday night. Well, if that is how they estimated it, from here on in, we will be attracting as much as 20, 000 at all of our remaining mass meetings. Lord have mercy!!! Can you imagine the PEOPLE? As they say, it would be like Federation. You do the math – which venue will hold the people?

For some time, and I see it day after day, night after night, the people of Barbados have been warming to Freundel; not only Dear Loving People, but a cross section of Barbadians – even reasonable Bees. And, do you know why? He is DECENT. They don’t have any dirt on him. No scandals, no cussing, no infelicities – just a calm, cool, steady and astute leader.

We have constantly reminded the public what Harold Wilson said decades ago in Britain (1964) ‘a week is a long time in politics’. Remember, the Bees were beating their hollow chests a few months ago. So, we have to stay the course, and be on the attack. The BLP will not take these poll results ‘lying-down’. Those guys will go on the offensive and will be ultra-aggressive. Lies, accusations and dirt will rain down on us, as only the Bees can dish out.

I guess the last poll was done more than a week or so ago – because I detected a more sober-sided and restrained Wickham, while he hosted Brass Tacks recently – and I suspected his findings weren’t very self-satisfying. If the poll were done between last Wednesday and Friday, we would have gone clear. But, you know what! My reading of the mood of the people is: WE HAVE GONE CLEAR. IT’S NOW A SPRINT TO THE FINISH

So, as the momentum grows, we have to be vigilant. Stick to our message, and attack them and counter-attack them without offending the sensibilities of voters. We have to be like the proverbial Boy Scout – Be Prepared! Remember, to be forewarned is to be fore-armed.

With God’s help, we won’t be the ones seeing red come Thursday night. COME OUT AND VOTE, AND URGE EVERBODY YOU ENCOUNTER TO DO LIKEWISE – VOTE DEMS, VOTE DEMS ALL DAY.

Now, as far as ‘Owing’ Arthur is concerned, we have to go after him as a failed leader. Since the BLP has been promoting leadership as an issue, we must continue to dissect Arthur’s leadership, his mismanagement and his abuse of power when he was at the helm.

There are countless instances of his autocratic and ruthless style and his impetuous temper that left scores of Barbadians not only scared stiff of him but also offended, hurt and devastated. Too many persons were paralysed with fear of OSA, to the extent they became immobilised. We have passed that point; we cannot go back to arrogance and oppression. Those days are behind us. WE WON’T GO BACK.

It’s senseless returning to warm-over, greasy soup. The old people always tell you such a diet isn’t good for your stomach; it gives you Montezuma’s Revenge – aka diarrhoea – ask the wind-up doll, Muscle Mary.

    TTP; You are really good at spinning. The whole affair of the Note shows clearly that the Judas Iscariot in the matter was Freundal jerome Stuart NOT Owen Arthur. Owen Arthur wrote him a note, that to all accounts and purposes, was confidential. The note appears to have been primarily about the Eager 11 affair and OSA promises to keep out of that affair. Then in finishing off the note he indicates that FS could TAKE mottley. Nte that he is not offering FS MOttley since Mottley could not have been his to offer. He says you could take her. Doesn’t that connote to you and your followers that negotiations were in train between Mottley and FS for her to go over and Owen was merely saying (perhaps in banter) take her isf you want.

    FS was the Judas Iscariot here as he himself published part of the contents of a confidential note for the filthy silver of electoral gain knowing full well that the note had nothing to do with Owen offering Mottley to FS.

    Ask him to publish the full note with Owen’s signature and the portion that is left out. Then we can talk.

    it was more than bullshit. Thats the nature of the man, he is deceiving, disgusting, despicable, dilusionary. He cusses every body, thats the man that cuss stephen alleyne and few hours after he had a heart attack.

    Thats the man that contributed to the low moral in the public service, by determing who whould be promoted or not, under the guise of public sector reform. Thats the man who wasted about half a billion od eduteckway and what do we have to show for it.

    TTP; the wrapping of cloth by the DLP appears to be the DLP playing follow pattern. At least in my area the BLP had the red wrappings up long ago. As in everything of consequence in this campaign the DLP is playing catchup. The only thing they are’nt playing catchup in is discussing programmes in depth on their platforms as they are concentrating on lying on or misrepresenting Arthur and hoping some of the mud will stick.

    Balance times have changed or haven.t you notuice this election is all about ethics .no more banana republic ways if doing this. this election must be having a lot of the ole politicians feeling lucky cause a political revolution is taking place turning an about face from the politricks of yesterday. for some this is just the begining.

    AC and TTP; The only forward looking discussion offered so far on the DLP platform has been Estwick’s presentation on the Economy and the proposals for Alternative energy programmes that are merely slight additions on the ongoing programmes left by the BLP. All else has been froth, horse teeth, bare pooch cats, etc.

    You have a pumpkin on your shoulders. It can be a confidential note and a bit of banter/joke (Owen’s words) at the same time knucklehead. If it was a joke then it does not have the air of confidence about it.

    It is a foolish mistake by a man who cannot resist even manipulating those whom he had already wronged. He has no moral minimum and probably never deserved to be a Prime Minister in the first place.

    He is a national embarrassment to all good, decent and right thinking Barbadians.

    Fortunately, lesbians are more easily provided for at the sperm bank and with an injection of sperm from an unknown source.

    Come on OSA, you are known to get dirtier than what Fumble has thrown at you.
    Seethru, you need to get in the gutter and expose the blasted bulling liar calling himself Mr. Clean from Integrity Ville instead of Buller’s Avenue.

    The electorate has to decide between a lying drunken thief who can manage the economy and a pretentious lying closet buller who keeps company with other bulling thieves but does not know his elbow from his arse where management of our frail and vulnerable economy is concerned.

    Now don’t be hypocritical since a similar sexually oriented moral litmus test is applied to MAM.

    Freundel has laid down the integrity gauntlet and he has to deal with the sword of truth which will reveal his hidden closeted past.

    SORRY AC I HOLD NO BRIEF FOR STUART NOR MR ARTHUR BUT RELEASING OF THE NOTE TO DISCREDIT M R ARTHUR MIGHT VERY WELL HAVE BACKFIRED TO MR STUART’S OWN DISCREDIT WHERE INTEGRITY IS CONCERNED.     Balance have you consider the woman vote those are the people that the note was intended for.most men would not understand what it feels like to be mistreated publicly. But most woman can identify wich her humiliation and there is where the power of the note lies

    Though I fully expect the BLP to gain more seats and hence take the government come Thursday / Friday, IF and that is a BIG IF, the DLP won, I would also expect that Chris Sinckler and not Stuart would become PM of Barbados.

    At the minimum BLP would get ten and 11 out of 20 is a majority.It is the person that commands the majority who goes to the GG as PM.

    Biding time and acting at the right time is the key.

    So, whichever way it goes, Stuart will not be PM come Frday.

    So, you should be comparing Arthur and Sinckler, not Arthur and Stuart.

    Had the DLP called elections closer to the dischord in th BLP, then they would have gone clear. Too much time has passed. Too much window dressing and making up has happened, and the BLP support has converged upon itself completely.

    If the DLP wins it won’t because of any backlash in the female vote.
