Absolutely beautifully written piece, and how very true about my own people. I’ve forwarded this to a few friends who are of the same mind.

Pardon my ignorance, but I’ve never heard of the writer. Who is he, where he come from?

barbadian suffering from willie lynch syndrome.
    willie lynch letter:
This speech was delivered by Willie Lynch on the bank of the James River in the colony of Virginia in 1712. Lynch was a British slave owner in the West Indies. He was invited to the colony of Virginia in 1712 to teach his methods to slave owners there. The term “lynching” is derived from his last name.
[beginning of the Willie Lynch Letter]

Gentlemen. I greet you here on the bank of the James River in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twelve. First, I shall thank you, the gentlemen of the Colony of Virginia, for bringing me here. I am here to help you solve some of your problems with slaves. Your invitation reached me on my modest plantation in the West Indies, where I have experimented with some of the newest, and still the oldest, methods for control of slaves. Ancient Rome would envy us if my program is implemented. As our boat sailed south on the James River, named for our illustrious King, whose version of the Bible we cherish, I saw enough to know that your problem is not unique. While Rome used cords of wood as crosses for standing human bodies along its highways in great numbers, you are here using the tree and the rope on occasions. I caught the whiff of a dead slave hanging from a tree, a couple miles back. You are not only losing valuable stock by hangings, you are having uprisings, slaves are running away, your crops are sometimes left in the fields too long for maximum profit, you suffer occasional fires, your animals are killed. Gentlemen, you know what your problems are; I do not need to elaborate. I am not here to enumerate your problems, I am here to introduce you to a method of solving them. In my bag here, I HAVE A FULL PROOF METHOD FOR CONTROLLING YOUR BLACK SLAVES. I guarantee every one of you that, if installed correctly, IT WILL CONTROL THE SLAVES FOR AT LEAST 300 HUNDREDS YEARS. My method is simple. Any member of your family or your overseer can use it. I HAVE OUTLINED A NUMBER OF DIFFERENCES AMONG THE SLAVES; AND I TAKE THESE DIFFERENCES AND MAKE THEM BIGGER. I USE FEAR, DISTRUST AND ENVY FOR CONTROL PURPOSES. These methods have worked on my modest plantation in the West Indies and it will work throughout the South. Take this simple little list of differences and think about them. On top of my list is “AGE,” but it’s there only because it starts with an “a.” The second is “COLOR” or shade. There is INTELLIGENCE, SIZE, SEX, SIZES OF PLANTATIONS, STATUS on plantations, ATTITUDE of owners, whether the slaves live in the valley, on a hill, East, West, North, South, have fine hair, course hair, or is tall or short. Now that you have a list of differences, I shall give you an outline of action, but before that, I shall assure you that DISTRUST IS STRONGER THAN TRUST AND ENVY STRONGER THAN ADULATION, RESPECT OR ADMIRATION. The Black slaves after receiving this indoctrination shall carry on and will become self-refueling and self-generating for HUNDREDS of years, maybe THOUSANDS. Don’t forget, you must pitch the OLD black male vs. the YOUNG black male, and the YOUNG black male against the OLD black male. You must use the DARK skin slaves vs. the LIGHT skin slaves, and the LIGHT skin slaves vs. the DARK skin slaves. You must use the FEMALE vs. the MALE, and the MALE vs. the FEMALE. You must also have white servants and overseers [who] distrust all Blacks. But it is NECESSARY THAT YOUR SLAVES TRUST AND DEPEND ON US. THEY MUST LOVE, RESPECT AND TRUST ONLY US. Gentlemen, these kits are your keys to control. Use them. Have your wives and children use them, never miss an opportunity. IF USED INTENSELY FOR ONE YEAR, THE SLAVES THEMSELVES WILL REMAIN PERPETUALLY DISTRUSTFUL. Thank you gentlemen.”

It was the interest and business of slave holders to study human nature, and the slave nature in particular, with a view to practical results. I and many of them attained astonishing proficiency in this direction. They had to deal not with earth, wood and stone, but with men and, by every regard, they had for their own safety and prosperity they needed to know the material on which they were to work, conscious of the injustice and wrong they were every hour perpetuating and knowing what they themselves would do. Were they the victims of such wrongs? They were constantly looking for the first signs of the dreaded retribution. They watched therefore with skilled and practiced eyes, and learned to read with great accuracy, the state of mind and heart of the slave, through his sable face. Unusual sobriety, apparent abstractions, sullenness and indifference indeed, any mood out of the common was afforded ground for suspicion and inquiry. Frederick Douglas LET’S MAKE A SLAVE is a study of the scientific process of man-breaking and slave-making. It describes the rationale and results of the Anglo Saxons’ ideas and methods of insuring the master/slave relationship. LET’S MAKE A SLAVE “The Original and Development of a Social Being Called ‘The Negro.’” Let us make a slave. What do we need? First of all, we need a black nigger man, a pregnant nigger woman and her baby nigger boy. Second, we will use the same basic principle that we use in breaking a horse, combined with some more sustaining factors. What we do with horses is that we break them from one form of life to another; that is, we reduce them from their natural state in nature. Whereas nature provides them with the natural capacity to take care of their offspring, we break that natural string of independence from them and thereby create a dependency status, so that we may be able to get from them useful production for our business and pleasure.CARDINAL PRINCIPLES FOR MAKING A NEGRO

For fear that our future generations may not understand the principles of breaking both of the beast together, the nigger and the horse. We understand that short range planning economics results in periodic economic chaos; so that to avoid turmoil in the economy, it requires us to have breadth and depth in long range comprehensive planning, articulating both skill sharp perceptions. We lay down the following principles for long range comprehensive economic planning. Both horse and niggers [are] no good to the economy in the wild or natural state. Both must be BROKEN and TIED together for orderly production. For orderly future, special and particular attention must be paid to the FEMALE and the YOUNGEST offspring. Both must be CROSSBRED to produce a variety and division of labor. Both must be taught to respond to a peculiar new LANGUAGE. Psychological and physical instruction of CONTAINMENT must be created for both. We hold the six cardinal principles as truth to be self-evident, based upon following the discourse concerning the economics of breaking and tying the horse and the nigger together, all inclusive of the six principles laid down above. NOTE: Neither principle alone will suffice for good economics. All principles must be employed for orderly good of the nation. Accordingly, both a wild horse and a wild or natur[al] nigger is dangerous even if captured, for they will have the tendency to seek their customary freedom and, in doing so, might kill you in your sleep. You cannot rest. They sleep while you are awake, and are awake while you are asleep. They are DANGEROUS near the family house and it requires too much labor to watch them away from the house. Above all, you cannot get them to work in this natural state. Hence, both the horse and the nigger must be broken; that is breaking them from one form of mental life to another. KEEP THE BODY, TAKE THE MIND! In other words, break the will to resist. Now the breaking process is the same for both the horse and the nigger, only slightly varying in degrees. But, as we said before, there is an art in long range economic planning. YOU MUST KEEP YOUR EYE AND THOUGHTS ON THE FEMALE and the OFFSPRING of the horse and the nigger. A brief discourse in offspring development will shed light on the key to sound economic principles. Pay little attention to the generation of original breaking, but CONCENTRATE ON FUTURE GENERATION. Therefore, if you break the FEMALE mother, she will BREAK the offspring in its early years of development; and when the offspring is old enough to work, she will deliver it up to you, for her normal female protective tendencies will have been lost in the original breaking process. For example, take the case of the wild stud horse, a female horse and an already infant horse and compare the breaking process with two captured nigger males in their natural state, a pregnant nigger woman with her infant offspring. Take the stud horse, break him for limited containment. Completely break the female horse until she becomes very gentle, whereas you or anybody can ride her in her comfort. Breed the mare and the stud until you have the desired offspring. Then, you can turn the stud to freedom until you need him again. Train the female horse whereby she will eat out of your hand, and she will in turn train the infant horse to eat out of your hand, also. When it comes to breaking the uncivilized nigger, use the same process, but vary the degree and step up the pressure, so as to do a complete reversal of the mind. Take the meanest and most restless nigger, strip him of his clothes in front of the remaining male niggers, the female, and the nigger infant, tar and feather him, tie each leg to a different horse faced in opposite directions, set him afire and beat both horses to pull him apart in front of the remaining niggers. The next step is to take a bullwhip and beat the THE BREAKING PROCESS OF THE AFRICAN WOMAN

Take the female and run a series of tests on her to see if she will submit to your desires willingly. Test her in every way, because she is the most important factor for good economics. If she shows any sign of resistance in submitting completely to your will, do not hesitate to use the bullwhip on her to extract that last bit of [b—-] out of her. Take care not to kill her, for in doing so, you spoil good economics. When in complete submission, she will train her offsprings in the early years to submit to labor when they become of age. Understanding is the best thing. Therefore, we shall go deeper into this area of the subject matter concerning what we have produced here in this breaking process of the female nigger. We have reversed the relationship; in her natural uncivilized state, she would have a strong dependency on the uncivilized nigger male, and she would have a limited protective tendency toward her independent male offspring and would raise male offsprings to be dependent like her. Nature had provided for this type of balance. We reversed nature by burning and pulling a civilized nigger apart and bullwhipping the other to the point of death, all in her presence. By her being left alone, unprotected, with the MALE IMAGE DESTROYED, the ordeal caused her to move from her psychologically dependent state to a frozen, independent state. In this frozen, psychological state of independence, she will raise her MALE and female offspring in reversed roles. For FEAR of the young male’s life, she will psychologically train him to be MENTALLY WEAK and DEPENDENT, but PHYSICALLY STRONG. Because she has become psychologically independent, she will train her FEMALE offsprings to be psychologically independent. What have you got? You’ve got the nigger WOMAN OUT FRONT AND THE nigger MAN BEHIND AND SCARED. This is a perfect situation of sound sleep and economics. Before the breaking process, we had to be alertly on guard at all times. Now, we can sleep soundly, for out of frozen fear his woman stands guard for us. He cannot get past her early slave-molding process. He is a good tool, now ready to be tied to the horse at a tender age. By the time a nigger boy reaches the age of sixteen, he is soundly broken in and ready for a long life of sound and efficient work and the reproduction of a unit of good labor force. Continually through the breaking of uncivilized savage niggers, by throwing the nigger female savage into a frozen psychological state of independence, by killing the protective male image, and by creating a submissive dependent mind of the nigger male slave, we have created an orbiting cycle that turns on its own axis forever, unless a phenomenon occurs and re-shifts the position of the male and female slaves. We show what we mean by example. Take the case of the two economic slave units and examine them close.

remaining nigger males to the point of death, in front of the female and the infant. Don’t kill him, but PUT THE FEAR OF GOD IN HIM, for he can be useful for future breeding.

We breed two nigger males with two nigger females. Then, we take the nigger male away from them and keep them moving and working. Say one nigger female bears a nigger female and the other bears a nigger male; both nigger females—being without influence of the nigger male image, frozen with a independent psychology—will raise their offspring into reverse positions. The one with the female offspring will teach her to be like herself, independent and negotiable (we negotiate with her, through her, by her, negotiates her at will). The one with the nigger male offspring, she being frozen subconscious fear for his life, will raise him to be mentally dependent and weak, but physically strong; in other words, body over mind. Now, in a few years when these two offsprings become fertile for early reproduction, we will mate and breed them and continue the cycle. That is good, sound and long range comprehensive planning.

Earlier, we talked about the non-economic good of the horse and the nigger in their wild or natural state; we talked out the principle of breaking and tying them together for orderly production. Furthermore, we talked about paying particular attention to the female savage and her offspring for orderly future planning, then more recently we stated that, by reversing the positions of the male and female savages, we created an orbiting cycle that turns on its own axis forever unless a phenomenon occurred and reshifts positions of the male and female savages. Our experts warned us about the possibility of this phenomenon occurring, for they say that the mind has a strong drive to correct and re-correct itself over a period of time if it can touch some substantial original historical base; and they advised us that the best way to deal with the phenomenon is to shave off the brute’s mental history and create a multiplicity of phenomena of illusions, so that each illusion will twirl in its own orbit, something similar to floating balls in a vacuum. This creation of multiplicity of phenomena of illusions entails the principle of crossbreeding the nigger and the horse as we stated above, the purpose of which is to create a diversified division of labor; thereby creating different levels of labor and different values of illusion at each connecting level of labor. The results of which is the severance of the points of original beginnings for each sphere illusion. Since we feel that the subject matter may get more complicated as we proceed in laying down our economic plan concerning the purpose, reason and effect of crossbreeding horses and niggers, we shall lay down the following definition terms for future generations. Orbiting cycle means a thing turning in a given path. Axis means upon which or around which a body turns. Phenomenon means something beyond ordinary conception and inspires awe and wonder. Multiplicity means a great number. Means a globe. Crossbreeding a horse means taking a horse and breeding it with an ass and you get a dumb, backward, ass long-headed mule that is not reproductive nor productive by itself. Crossbreeding niggers mean taking so many drops of good white blood and putting them into as many nigger women as possible, varying the drops by the various tone that you want, and then letting them breed with each other until another circle of color appears as you desire. What this means is this: Put the niggers and the horse in a breeding pot, mix some asses and some good white blood and what do you get? You got a multiplicity of colors of ass backward, unusual niggers, running, tied to backward ass long-headed mules, the one productive of itself, the other sterile. (The one constant, the other dying, we keep the nigger constant for we may replace the mules for another tool) both mule and nigger tied to each other, neither knowing where the other came from and neither productive for itself, nor without each other.

Crossbreeding completed, for further severance from their original beginning, WE MUST COMPLETELY ANNIHILATE THE MOTHER TONGUE of both the new nigger and the new mule, and institute a new language that involves the new life’s work of both. You know language is a peculiar institution. It leads to the heart of a people. The more a foreigner knows about the language of another country the more he is able to move through all levels of that society. Therefore, if the foreigner is an enemy of the country, to the extent that he knows the body of the language, to that extent is the country vulnerable to attack or invasion of a foreign culture. For example, if you take a slave, if you teach him all about your language, he will know all your secrets, and he is then no more a slave, for you can’t fool him any longer, and BEING A FOOL IS ONE OF THE BASIC INGREDIENTS OF ANY INCIDENTS TO THE MAINTENANCE OF THE SLAVERY SYSTEM. For example, if you told a slave that he must perform in getting out “our crops” and he knows the language well, he would know that “our crops” didn’t mean “our crops” and the slavery system would break down, for he would relate on the basis of what “our crops” really meant. So you have to be careful in setting up the new language; for the slaves would soon be in your house, talking to you as “man to man” and that is death to our economic system. In addition, the definitions of words or terms are only a minute part of the process. Values are created and transported by communication through the body of the language. A total society has many interconnected value systems. All the values in the society have bridges of language to connect them for orderly working in the society. But for these language bridges, these many value systems would sharply clash and cause internal strife or civil war, the degree of the conflict being determined by the magnitude of the issues or relative opposing strength in whatever form. For example, if you put a slave in a hog pen and train him to live there and incorporate in him to value it as a way of life completely, the biggest problem you would have out of him is that he would worry you about provisions to keep the hog pen clean, or the same hog pen and make a slip and incorporate something in his language whereby he comes to value a house more than he does his hog pen, you got a problem. He will soon be in your house.Additional Note: “Henty Berry, speaking in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1832, described the situation as it existed in many parts of the South at this time: “We have, as far as possible, closed every avenue by which light may enter their (the slaves) minds. If we could extinguish the capacity to see the light, our work would be complete; they would then be on a level with the beasts of the field and we should be safe. I am not certain that we would not do it, if we could find out the process and that on the plea of necessity.” From Brown America, The story of a New Race by Edwin R. Embree. 1931 The Viking Press.

Add religion into the mix of mind control. This religious programmme is so powerful, that we have churches on practically every corner of this island, other islands, Africa, etc. We worship a book call the bible, which is entirely based on astrology, astronomy, and biology. We have been taught to worship the sun in the sky as the son jesus; the 12 zodiac signs as ‘his’ 12 diciples, and so on and so on. It is indescribably sad how otherwise seemingly critical thinking people can be so duped for so long, and seem to want to stay that way. They are programmed to worship the Sun, go to church on Sun-day, which is all based on so called paganism, which is really another word for being natural. But would tremble at the thought of being called a pagan.
Sadly, I think we will always have people who gladly embrace the idea of wanting to be led and controlled.

Perhaps seeing the plan and its diabolical consequences may inspire a few to alter their thinking and behaviour.

Hey David how about having a post with ‘the speech’ and inviting discussion on it?

No need for all the Willie Lynch theory. Our education system does the same thing up to this day and we the parents go through it and accept what would be unacceptable in Europe or North America.

From Primary school we accept a position in class according to our abilities. This nonsense of 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc in classrooms, is a known tool to damage the minds of children to accept a superiority or inferiority complex amongst each other. One of the most damaging things we can do to children is to have them compare themselves.

We further entrench this damage by accepting and aspiring to have our children attend 1 of the 4 “top schools” and take the mickey by giving parents a choice of these schools before the children even sit the exam! What an affront to supposedly intelligent people! You are being given the choice to create social and personal division in your childrens minds. They still have the position in class rubbish on school reports in secondary schools!

They then stuff it down your throat by saying if you don’t choose from the hierarchy, then your child will not get a place in secondary school and will have to pay for them to be educated outside of the direct system through a bursary or private school.

What is hurtful is that so many parents accept it. Partly because they went through this system and they see no harm in their outcome, partly because parents are also educators and involved in the ministry of education and partly because this is all a part of the brainwashing that helps to perpetuate our poor man, inferiority, rich man superiority complexes.

Their are many so called middle classed people who do not recognise themselves as poor.

There is little difference between a slave and a servant. Both are ignorant of what freedom really is.

Margaret Sanger founder of the International Planned Parenthood Federation.
“We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population. and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.”
Margaret Sanger’s December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255 Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon’s Woman’s Body, Woman’s Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America. New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.

First genocide of the 20th century. German Southwest Africa 1904-1908: Genocide of Hereros.

    * The German military commander, General Lothar von Trotha, ordered the Herero people to leave Namibia or be killed. Herero were massacred with machine guns, their wells poisoned and then driven into the desert to die. In total, between 40,000 up to 100,000 Herero perished along with 10,000 Nama.Genocide
General Trotha openly stated his proposed solution to end the resistance of the Herero people in a letter, before the Battle of Waterberg:

“ “I believe that the nation as such should be annihilated, or, if this was not possible by tactical measures, have to be expelled from the country…This will be possible if the water-holes from Grootfontein to Gobabis are occupied. The constant movement of our troops will enable us to find the small groups of naOn 2 October, Trotha issued a warning to the Hereros:

“ I, the great general of the German soldiers, send this letter to the Hereros. The Hereros are German subjects no longer. They have killed, stolen, cut off the ears and other parts of the body of wounded soldiers, and now are too cowardly to want to fight any longer. I announce to the people that whoever hands me one of the chiefs shall receive 1,000 marks, and 5,000 marks for Samuel Maherero. The Herero nation must now leave the country. If it refuses, I shall compel it to do so with the ‘long tube’ (cannon). Any Herero found inside the German frontier, with or without a gun or cattle, will be executed. I shall spare neither women nor children. I shall give the order to drive them away and fire on them. Such are my words to the Herero people.
    He further gave orders that:

This proclamation is to read to the troops at roll-call, with the addition that the unite that catches a captain will also receive the appropriate reward, and that the shooting at women and children is to be understood as shooting above their heads, so as to force them to run [away]. I assume absolutely that this proclamation will result in taking no more male prisoners, but will not degenerate into atrocities against women and children. The latter will run away if one shoots at them a couple of times. The troops will remain conscious of the good reputation of the German soldier.

tion who have moved backwards and destroy them gradually.
Trotha gave orders that captured Herero males were to be executed, while women and children were to be driven into the desert where their death from starvation and thirst was to be certain; Trotha argued that there was no need to make exceptions for Herero women and children, since these would “infect German troops with their diseases”, the insurrection Trotha explained “is and remains the beginning of a racial stru

German scientist Eugen Fischer came to the concentration camps to conduct medical experiments on race,[54] using children of Herero people and mulatto children of Herero women and German men as test subjects. Together with Theodor Mollison he also experimented upon Herero prisoners[55] Those experiments included sterilization, injection of smallpox, typhus as well as tuberculosis[49

As a certain Black brother of mine, who is one of the most brilliant minds any where, said re the so-called:

“This is a demonic poem of a litany of deception, playing out the trifecta fallacy to the hilt, and riddled with misleading half-truths, e.g., the free village movement [which is of course also slandered], the Mico trust and many initiatives across the 150 years up to today amount to a significant payment of compensation.”

Again, this bright Black intellectual, adds:

“The pictures are added to enhance the trifecta…if one has been made too angry to listen, one can be better led into demonic deception. Notice how at no point there is recognition of how the gospel and Christians – white and black, from within and beyond the region – acting out of biblical motives played a key role in liberation, empowerment and the creation of a new order of nations in our region, where we have begun to learn how to live together as different races in a common community and region.”

“This is a demonically intended to undermine our potential across the 10/40 window and lands of the north to be agents of reconciliation and peace.”

    “Hate is a different spirit.”

Regarding the so-called infamous William Lynch speech, clearly a fraud, as anyone can see from Wikipedia 101.

The utter historical distortions, blatant half-truths, lace this venomous poetic neo-pagan, Pan African, Rasta diatribe, fueled from demonic inspiration, filled with diabolical anger and hatred, straight from the pit itself, as nother place could invent such lies, seeking to further mislead an already deadly troubled humanity across the world of nations, and on the brink of all End-Time prophetic fulfillment, where COLOUR has NEVER been the issue, but SIN, which permeates the heart of ALL mankind, bar NONE!

The Scramble for Africa, also known as the Race for Africa was a process of invasion, attack, occupation, and annexation of African territory by European powers during the New Imperialism period, between 1881 and World War I in 1914.

The “colonial” period in Africa officially started in 1884 when the European powers met in Berlin to decide who should get what piece of the continent. Unfortunately, the Africans were not represented. One major result of the Berlin Conference was that King Leopold II of Belgium was granted the Congo as his personal domain.
Under the reign of terror instituted by King Leopold II of Belgium (who ran the Congo Free State as his personal fief from 1885 to 1908), the population of the Congo was reduced by half — about 15 million african were murdered.

When You Kill Ten Million Africans You Aren’t Called ‘Hitler’
    by Liam O’Ceallaigh on December 22, 2010 .
Most people haven’t heard of him.

But you should have. When you see his face or hear his name you should get as sick in your stomach as when you read about Mussolini or Hitler or see one of their pictures. You see, he killed over 10 million Africans in the Congo.

His name is King Leopold II of Belgium.
He “owned” the Congo during his reign as the constitutional monarch of Belgium. After several failed colonial attempts in Asia and Africa, he settled on the Congo. He “bought” it and enslaved its people, turning the entire country into his own personal slave plantation. He disguised his “business transactions” as philanthropic and scientific efforts under the banner of the “International African Society”. He used their enslaved labor to extract Congolese resources and services. His reign was enforced through work camps, body mutilations, executions, torture, and his private army.

Most of us – I don’t yet know an approximate percentage but I fear its extremely high – aren’t taught about him in school. We don’t hear about him in the media. He’s not part of the widely repeated narrative of oppression (which includes things like the Holocaust during World War II).
He’s part of a long history of colonialism, imperialism, slavery and genocide of the African continent that would clash with the social construction of the white supremacist narrative in our schools. It doesn’t fit neatly into a curriculum which trains young white people to be, as my friend puts it, “little racists”. Its bad to “say racist things”, but quite fine not to talk about African genocides perpetrated by European capitalist monarchs.

Stories which support the white supremacist narrative about the subhumanness of Africans are allowed to be entered into the records of history. The white guy who turned the Congo into his own personal part-plantation, part-concentration camp, part-Christian ministry and killed 10 to 15 million Conglese people in the process doesn’t make the cut.

You see, when you kill ten million Africans, you aren’t called ‘Hitler’. That is, your name doesn’t come to symbolize the living incarnation of evil. Your name and your picture doesn’t produce fear, hatred, and sorrow. Your victims aren’t talked about and your name isn’t remembered.

utilations, executions, torture, and his private army.

Anonus, Wikipedia is most certainly not without its bias, and must be challenged when and where necessary, can you do this here in this particular regard?

    Here is Wiki’s intro:

“The William Lynch speech is an address purportedly delivered by a certain William Lynch (0r Willie Lynch) to an audience on the bank of the James River in Verginia in 1712 regarding control of slaves within the colony. The letter purports to be a verbatim account of a short speech given by a slave owner, in which he tells other slave masters that he has discovered the “secret” to controlling black slaves by setting them against one another. The document has been in print since at least 1970, but first gained widespread notice in the 1990s, when it appeared on the internet. Since then, it has often been promoted as an authentic account of slavery during the 18th century, though its inaccuracies and anachronisms have led historians to conclude that it is a hoax.”

I’ll now quote the views of one black Carribean scholar, a brilliant intellectual, an historian in his own right on this spurious William Lynch speech.

“I long ago stopped listening to sentences that begin with “The problem with black people” or ended with “and that’s why black people can’t get ahead now,” – which partly explains my initial disinterest in now-famous William Lynch Speech. In the few years since the speech on how to train slaves first appeared, it has been cited by countless college students, a black member of the House of Reprensentatives and become the essential verbal footnote in barbershops analysis of what’s wrong with black people. The rapper Talib Kweli laments on the song “Know That” blacks are dyin’/how to make a slave/by Willie Lynch is still applyin” and one professor at a mid-western university made the speech required reading for her class. Of late, the frequency of its citations seems to be increasing – at least three people have asked me about it in the last month.”

“According to the speech’s preface, Master Lynch was concerned enough with the fortunes of his slave-holding brethren in the American colonies to give a speech on the bank of the James River explaining how to keep unruly servants disunited. The old, he argued, should be pitted against the young, the dark against the light, the male against the female and so on. Such disunifying tactics “will control the slaves for at least 300 years,” he guaranteed. And that, it seems, is why black people can’t get ahead now.”

“There are many problems with this document – not the least of which is the fact that it is absolutely fake.”

“As a historian, I am generally skeptical of smoking guns. Historical work, like forensic science, is more about the painstaking aggregation of facts that lead researchers to the most likely explanation, but rarely the only one. Slavery was an incredibly complex set of social, economic and legal relations that literally boiled down to black and white. But given the variation in size of farms, number of enslaved workers, region, crops grown, law, gender-ratios, religion and local economy, it is unlikely that a single letter could explain slave policy for at least 151 years of the instituition and its ramifications down to the present day.”

“Considering the limited number of extant sources from 18th century, if this speech had been “discovered” it would’ve been subject of incessant historical panels, scholarly articles and debates. It would literally be a career-making find. But the letter was never “discovered,” but rather it “appeared” – bypassing the official historical circuits and making its way via internet directly into the canon of American racial conspiratoria.”

“On a more practical level, the speech is filled with references that are questionable if not completely inaccurate. Lynch makes references to an invitation reaching him on his “modest plantation in the West Indies.” While this is theorically possible – the planation system was well-established in the Carribean by 1712 – most plantation owners were absentees who chose to remain in the colonizing country while the day-to-day affairs of their holdings were run by hired managers and overseers. But assuming that Mr. Lynch was an exception to this practice, much of the text of his “speech” is anachronistic. Lynch makes consistent reference to “slaves” – which again is possible, though it is far more likely people during this era would refer to persons in bondage simply as “Negroes.” In the first paragraph, he promises that “Ancient Rome would envy us if my PROGRAM is implimented,” but the word “program” did not enter the English language with those connotation until 1837 – at the time of this speech it was used to reference a written notice for theater events.”

“Two paragraps later he says that he will “give an OUTLINE of action,” for slaves-holders; the word “out-line” had appeared only 5o years earlier and was an artistic term meaning a sketch – it didn’t convey it’s present meaning until 1759. Even more damming is his use of the terms “INDOCTRINATION” and “SELF REFUELING” in the next sentence. The first word didn’t carry its current connotations until 1832; the second didn’t enter language until 1811 – a century after the purported date of Lynch’s speech. More obviously, Lynch uses the word “BLACK” with an upper-case “B” to describe African Americans more than two centuries before the word came to be applied as a common ethnic identifier.”

“In popular citations, Lynch has also been -inexplicably – credited with the term “lynching” which would be odd since the speech promises to provide slave-holders with non-violent techniques that save them the expenses of killing valuable, if unruly, property. This inaccuracy points to a more basic problem in understanding American history.”

“The violence directed at black people in America was exceptional in the reagard that it was racialized and used to reinforce political and social subordination, but it was not unique. Early America was incredibly violent in general – stemming in part from the endemic violence in British society and partly from the violence that tends to be associated with frontier societies. For most of its history, lynching was a non-racial phenomenon – actually it was racial in that it was most often directed at white people. “Lynch law” was derived from mob violence directed at Tories, or British loyalists, just after the American Revolution. While there is disagreement about the precise origins of the term – some associate it with Charles Lynch, a Revolution-era Jusyice-of-the Peace who imprisoned Tories, others see it as the legacy of an armed militia founded near the Lynch River or the militia captian named Lynch who created judicial tribunals in Virginia in 1776 – there is no reference to the term earlier than 1768, more than half a century after the date given for the speech.”

“Given the sparse judicial resources (judges were forced to travel from town-to-town hearing cases, which is where we get the term “judicial circuit”) and the frequency of property crimes in the early republic, lynching was often seen as a form of community justice. Not until 1880s, after the end of Reconstruction, did “lynching” become associated with African Americans; gradually the number of blacks lynched each year surpassed the number of whites until it became almost exclusively directed at black people late in the century.”

“On another level, the Willie Lynch speech would seem to give a quick-and-easy explanation of the roots of our much-lamented “black-disunity.” You could make similar arguments about the lingering effects of a real historical document like the 1845 tract “Religious Instruction of Negroes” – written by a proslavery Presbyterian minister – or the British practice of mixing different African ethnicities on slave ships in order to make communication – and therefore rebellion – more difficult. But this too is questionable – it presumes that whites, or any other diverse group, do not face divisive gender issues, generation gaps and class distinctions. Willie Lynch offers no explanation for the white pro-lifer who guns down a white abortion-provider or white-on-white domestic violence. He does not explain political conflicts among different Latino groups or crime in asian communities. Unity is not the same as unanimity and in the end, black people are no more disunited than any other group of people – and a lot more united than we give ourselves credit for.”

Thank God there are many well educated blacks, who are able to think critically, objectively, honestly, and will not be drawn away by this irrational, twisted, Afro-Centric, neo-pagan nonsense of bitter hatred and utterly futile rantism!

    Herero genocide
During the colonial land-grab of African countries by European nations after the 1884–85 Berlin Conference,2 Germany annexed Namibia, then known as South-West Africa. German settlers quickly ran roughshod over the historical rights and claims of the Herero tribal inhabitants, and for the next 20 years plundered their lands, houses and livestock. Of this period, the governor, Theodor Leutwein, wrote that the German settlers had an ‘inborn feeling of belonging to a superior race’. Thus racism was rife. The Herero were regularly referred to as ‘baboons’; the men were commonly beaten to death for minor infringements, and the women were made sex slaves by the soldiers and settlers.

The response of the Berlin government to this insurrection by a colonized people who had dared to resist the might of the German nation was fast and ruthless. Kaiser Wilhelm II dispatched 14,000 troops to the region under the command of Lieutenant-General Lothar von Trotha.

Von Trotha’s written goal was: ‘I believe that the [Herero] nation as such should be exterminated.’
About 100,000 african people we exterminated by the Germans troops. The surviving Herero people were put into concentration camps.
EUGEN FISCHER carried out medical experiments on the Herero people.Under his supervision, the preserved bodies and severed heads of Herero who had been hanged were sent to Germany for dissection.

    Bridgman, Jon M.
    The Revolt of The Hereros
Berkeley, Los Angeles; London: University of California Press, 1981
The German war against the Herero has been called the first genocide of the 20th Century.
The Germans fully documented what they did to annihilate the Herero “baboons,” yes that’s what they called them, by 80%.
The German final solution to the Herero problem was to shoot men, women and children. The Africans fought under the cry of, “Africa for the Africans.”
Those who survived the slaughter were consigned to concentration camps where they were worked to death. The women were turned into
sex-slaves and bizarre racial experiments were performed on the children by German geneticist Eugene Fischer who wrote a book
about his findings that race mixing led to genetic dangers.

    King Leopold’s Ghost
Boston, New York: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1998

“Carrying out a genocidal plundering of the Congo, King Leopold II of Belgium looted its rubber, brutalized its people,
and ultimately slashed its population by ten million.” Or was it 15 million?

” … Bullet usage was supposed to relate closely to the number of natives killed
and the soldiers supplied evidence of their kills by cutting the right hand from each corpse and smoking it
so that it might be preserved for subsequent checking. When one agent suggested that the hands could have come from women,
easier to catch and kill, penises were brought to prove the honesty of the soldiers.”

One agent paid his soldiers 1p per severed head to stiffen their resolve during battle,
whilst another used twenty-one heads to decorate his flowerbeds.

    Genocide in Australia:
The genocidal practices perpetrated against Australian Aborigines were the outcome of policies adopted and implemented by all Australian governments from British settlement in 1788 until the present. A people who had virtually no contact with the outside world, were suddenly confronted with a hostile and alien force. Aborigines were forced out of their traditional homes, hunted like wild animals, poisoned or shot, and confined to the harshest and most desolate climes. The effect of British settlement upon these people led to near extinction within 120 years.

Aboriginal children ‘injected with leprosy’ From: The Daily Telegraph April 15, 2008 12:00AM

ABORIGINAL children were injected with leprosy treatments in a medical testing program that used members of the Stolen Generation as guinea pigs, a Senate Committee has heard.
Greens Senator Bob Brown said he was “shocked and alarmed” by the claims, heard today by the Senate legal and constitutional committee’s inquiry into a Stolen Generation Compensation Bill 2008.

    Darwin’s bodysnatchers: new horrors
People deliberately killed to provide ‘specimens’ for evolutionary research
    by Carl Wieland, M.B., B.S.

In a previous Creation magazine we related evidence that perhaps 10,000 dead bodies of Australia’s Aboriginal people were shipped to British museums in a frenzied attempt to prove the widespread belief that they were the ‘missing link’.

Pickled Aboriginal brains were also in demand, to try to prove that they were inferior to those of whites. It was Darwin, after all, who wrote that the civilized races would inevitably wipe out such lesser-evolved ‘savage’ ones.

Good prices were being offered for such specimens. There is no doubt from written evidence that many of the ‘fresh’ specimens were obtained by simply going out and killing the Aboriginal people. The way in which the requests for specimens were announced was often a poorly disguised invitation to do just that. A death-bed memoir from Korah Wills, who became mayor of Bowen, Queensland in 1866,4 graphically describes how he killed and dismembered a local tribesman in 1865 to provide a scientific specimen.5

blackpanther, FYI, I have NEVER been anyone’s house nigger, I never will be massa’s defender, or for that matter anyone’s defender, regardless of their COLOUR, as I DON’T defend colour, I stand up resoutely for TRUTH, FACTS, which has NO colour attached to it, as SIN, PRIDE, is the root source of all mankinds problems, period!

Now, on this genocide thing you are pushing, with your twisted COLOUR BLIND perception, on this issue, one black Caribbean historian, correctly states:

“The first use of concentration camps and resulting mass deaths was the British against the Boers 1899-1902. If truth were told on the concentration camps in S Africa 1900-1902, that would go a long way to rebalancing our understanding…see the pics:”

Who were the Boers? Where they blacks? NO! They were WHITE Dutchmen, fighting against white Brits, in South Africa!

Again, our Caribbean historian, correctly points out:

“The one on genocide needs to recognise that the FIRST genocide C20 was the concentration camps used against the Boers.”

“Similarly, there have been several genocides, which reflect a general problem of hate and demonic injustice, not one that specifically targets whites. Cf Rwanda in 1994 and Hutu vs [Wa] tutsi.” (Black AGAINST Black!)

But you ‘blackpanther’ are so filled with HATRED, prejudice, against the white man, that you simply cannot think straight, to see the utter historic injustice, war, etc, committed by whites against whites, blacks against blacks, and every other colour on this planet against each other, over the course of history, all you can focus on is white against black; blaming the white man, for what IS an inherent, core problem WITHIN the entire human race, SIN, SIN, and more SIN! And it ain’t got NO COLOUR!

Your problem and those of your ilk, plus all others, regardless of their colour, is exactly as The Lord Jesus Christ said:

    The Lamp of the Body.

“The lamp of the body is the EYE. If therefore your EYE is good, your whole body will be full of LIGHT. But if your EYE is BAD, your whole body will be FULL OF DARKNESS. If therefore the light that is in YOU is DARKNESS, how great IS THAT DARKNESS! ( Matt. 6: 22, 23) emphasis added.

You are full of DARKNESS! i.e., hatred, anger, RACISM, envy, etc, etc!

    Barbadian Women and Slavery
    Angela Cole
Slave mistresses were more popular in the main port Bridgetown because during the “hard season”between crops the estate owners began to “let” them “out” as prostitutes for cash in ever-increasing numbers to the ever-growing number of taverns in the ever-expanding maritime trade. The planters found easy, convenient money. It was more profitable than using these wenches as breeding stock. These slave girls were sent to the soldiers’ barracks just outside of town for the commission officers and the soldiers.

By 1790-91 the question of slave prostitution was raised before the House of Commons Inquiry into the slave trade and all evidence was heard. In 1837 when Sturge and Harvey carried out their “emancipation” tour of the British West Indies, most hotels and taverns in Bridgetown were still considered “house of debauchery”and full of prostitutes. A man called Cooper from the abolitionist lobby said the slave population did not achieve positive growth because of the prevalence of prostitution among young females – on the estates as well as in town

    A. Horton writes that sharpened by a keen sense of a male dominated society they “pro-actively”pursued prostitution. Edward Long, a defender of slavery stated that black women were born for it; that they were highly efficient performing sex machines without morals: “From their youth they are taught to be whores, and to expect their living to be derived from immoral earnings.” J. B. Moreton, in 1790, blamed their mothers who arranged the clients and received the money out of their daughters’ bodies.

Colonel Hilton, a professional British soldier, saw a Creole white woman in the slave market examining the genitals of a slave. F.V. Bayley, and English travel writer of the 1820’s wrote about slave prostitution in Bridgetown as a highly organized institution that white Barbadian males considered socially indispensable.

slave owners prostituted ,raped and murdered african women..

    Church apologises for slave trade
BBC News, Wednesday, 8 February 2006, 18:47 GMT

Dr Rowan Williams says the apology is ‘necessary’
The Church of England has voted to apologise to the descendants of victims of the slave trade.
An amendment “recognising the damage done” to those enslaved was backed overwhelmingly by the General Synod.

Debating the motion, Rev Simon Bessant, from Pleckgate, Blackburn, described the Church’s involvement in the trade, saying: “We were at the heart of it.”

The amendment was supported by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and Archbishop of York John Sentamu.
Dr Williams said the apology was “necessary”.

He said: “The body of Christ is not just a body that exists at any one time, it exists across history and we therefore share the shame and the sinfulness of our predecessors and part of what we can do, with them and for them in the body of Christ, is prayer for acknowledgement of the failure that is part of us not just of some distant ‘them’.”

    Branding irons

During an emotional meeting of the Church’s governing body in London, Rev Blessant explained the involvement of the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts in the slave trade.

The organisation owned the Codrington Plantation in Barbados, where slaves had the word “society” branded on their backs with a red-hot iron, he said.

We were directly responsible for what happened

    Rev Simon Bessant
He added that when the emancipation of slaves took place in 1833, compensation was paid not to the slaves but to their owners.

In one case, he said the Bishop of Exeter and three colleagues were paid nearly £13,000 in compensation for 665 slaves.

He said: “We were directly responsible for what happened. In the sense of inheriting our history, we can say we owned slaves, we branded slaves, that is why I believe we must actually recognise our history and offer an apology.”

The synod passed a motion acknowledging the “dehumanising and shameful” consequences of slavery.

It comes ahead of commemorations of the 200th anniversary of the Slave Trade Act of 1807, which will be marked next year.

The debate heard from descendants of the slave trade including the Rev Nezlin Sterling, of Ealing, west London, who represents black churches. She told the synod that commemorations of the 200th anniversary would revive “painful issues and memories” for descendants.

The apology comes after Dr Williams was criticised in November for saying that missionaries “sinned” by imposing hymns ancient and modern on places such as Africa.

Church apologises for benefiting from slave trade· Guilt must be admitted, archbishop tells synod
    · Pledge to fight against modern slavery

Stephen Bates, religious affairs correspondent The Guardian, Thursday 9 February 2006 Article history.

The following correction was printed in the Guardian’s Corrections and clarifications column, Friday February 10 2006.

The year 1807 saw the abolition of the trade in slaves in the British empire and not, as we said in error in the article below, the abolition of the institution itself. To clarify, slavery in Britain was made illegal in 1772; the colonial slave trade was ended in 1807; slavery in the colonies was abolished in 1833.

The Church of England last night said sorry for the role it played in the 18th century in benefiting from slave labour in the Caribbean.

The church’s general synod in London began its deliberations yesterday by commemorating its role behind the abolition of slavery in 1807, pledging members to continue campaigning against modern slavery. But the debate was transformed at the request of the Archbishop of Canterbury, with an apology being issued for the church’s complicity in sustaining – and profiting hugely – from the trade.

Although the motion was passed unanimously, the synod stopped short of endorsing a specific call for financial or other reparations.

When parliament voted compensation in 1833 – to former slave owners rather than the slaves themselves – the church received £8,823 8s 9d, about £500,000 in today’s money, for the loss of slave labour on its Codrington plantation in Barbados. The contemporary Bishop of Exeter and his business associates received even more, nearly £13,000.

Rowan Williams, the archbishop, told the synod that the church ought to acknowledge its corporate and ancestral guilt: “The Body of Christ is not just a body that exists at any one time; it exists across history and we therefore share the shame and the sinfulness of our predecessors, and part of what we can do, with them and for them in the Body of Christ, is prayerful acknowledgment of the failure that is part of us, not just of some distant ‘them’.

“To speak here of repentance and apology is not words alone; it is part of our witness to the Gospel, to a world that needs to hear that the past must be faced and healed and cannot be ignored … by doing so we are actually discharging our responsibility to preach good news, not simply to look backwards in awkwardness and embarrassment, but to speak of the freedom we are given to face ourselves, including the unacceptable regions of … our history.”

The church’s admission follows similar apologies by the late Pope John Paul II for the historic transgressions of the Roman Catholic church, its anti-semitism and the Inquisition.

Speakers in the synod debate acknowledged that the church had played its part in justifying slavery during the long campaign by William Wilberforce and others such as the former slave ship captain turned minister John Newton, composer of the hymn Amazing Grace, to secure its abolition. Wilberforce brought bills before parliament for 20 successive years until legislation to abolish the trade was passed.

The Rt Rev Tom Butler, Bishop of Southwark, told the synod: “The profits from the slave trade were part of the bedrock of our country’s industrial development. No one who was involved in running the business, financing it or benefiting from its products can say they had clean hands.

NO ONE, who claims to have had a personal, living relationship, with the Resurrected, ascended Lord of Glory, Jesus Christ, could have even come close to imposing, treating, and viciously abusing the black slaves they way they were tormented and vilified.

I mantain, from an entirely biblical perspective, that any Anglican Bishop, clergyman, priest or whatever, who gave sanction to what transpired during the slave trade, COULD NOT have been a genuine, Born Again, justified believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, NEVER, they were just masquerading as Christians, causing grevious harm and disgrace to the cause of the gospel of Christ.

Yes, they were genuine Christians, within the Anglican church, like Wilberforce, who fought tirelessly for decades to have the slave trade and slavery abolished, a white man, among a few others, who KNEW what the Anglican church was condoning was NOT biblical at ALL! It stunk to high heaven!

The TRUE church of Jesus Christ, was NOT what the Anglican institution represented, Anglicanism and Roman Catholicism especially, the WHORE of Revelation, masquerading under the banner of ‘Christianity’ have done more harm to Jesus Christ and His gospel, over the centuries than any other religious institution!

So that, this modern day apology from within Anglicanism, is a farce, as it assumes that those who committed the crimes against the black slaves, were Christians, NO! They could NEVER have been Christians in the first place, blatant masqueraders!

Any so-called Christian, as the Anglicans did right here in B’dos, buying their pew seats, making the black man sit in the back of the church, could NEVER be Christians, there is a vast difference between the ‘false’ masquerading church, and the TRUE Church, the genuine ‘Body of Christ’ as Jesus said, “I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH, and the gates of hades (Hell) will NOT prevail against it” at no time did Jesus mention, Anglican, Catholic, Adventist, Pentecostal or any other name, HE Said, “I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH….” and He alone knows who are really members of His true Church, His Body on earth!

In February, 2006, the Church of England apologized for its involvement in the slave trade and benefits derived from it. (48) Said the Guardian: “The Church of England last night said sorry for the role it played in the 18th century in benefiting from slave labour in the Caribbean. … Speakers in the synod debate acknowledged that the church had played its part in justifying slavery during the long campaign by William Wilberforce and others …” The Rt Rev Tom Butler, Bishop of Southwark, told the synod: “We know that bishops in the House of Lords with biblical authority voted against the abolition of the slave trade. We know that the church owned sugar plantations on the Codrington estates [where they also owned slaves. Codrington estates is in Barbados].” The Guardian also noted that “A recent book, Bury the Chains (51), by the American author Adam Hochschild, clearly influenced the debate. It says the church’s missionary organisation, the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, branded its slaves on the chest with the word SOCIETY to show who they belonged to.”

In the 1857 Dred Scott Decision, the U.S. Supreme Court Ruled That African Americans Could Never be Citizens :
In a 7 to 2 ruling, they decided that African Americans could never be citizens because blacks “are not included, and were not intended to be included, under the word ‘citizens’ in the U.S. Constitution, and can therefore claim none of the rights and privileges which the instrument provides and secures to citizens of the United States. On the contrary, they were at that time [1787-88] considered as a subordinate and inferior class of beings who had been subjugated by the dominant race, and, whether emancipated or not, yet remained subject to their authority, and had no rights or privileges but such as those who held the power and Government might choose to grant them.” [as written by Chief Justice Roger B. Slavery and the Codrington Plantation

The Plantation was bequeathed to the Society for Propogating the Gospel in Foreign Parts (SPG) in 1710 by Christopher Codrington and was run by managers on behalf of the Church of England, represented by the Archbishop of Canterbury and a committee of bishops. It relied on new slaves from West Africa: by 1740 four out of every 10 slaves bought by the plantation died within three years. This contrasted with some plantations in what is now the Southern USA, where the death rate was lower.
Initially slaves were branded with the word “Society” on their chests with a hot iron.[4] Milton Meltzer explains that the branding practice throughout the sugar plantations was that “Already branded once by the trader, the slaves were branded a second time with their new owner’s initials.” On branding at Codrington, Hochschild says[5] “For nearly a decade, Codrington officials tried to reduce escapes by branding all slaves on their chests. In the end, though, the chief deterrent was the lash, plus, at times, an iron collar and a straitjacket.”
It has been suggested that in there was a deliberate “work to death” policy in operation, as was commonly the case on other plantations and in South America.[6] On this question, Hochschild makes the point[7] …”in 1746 one third of Africans died within three years of arrival in West Indies, from the ordeal of the middle passage, and the shock of adjusting to the new life, foods, and diseases.”

Church’s slavery apology ‘is not enough’
By Ben Fenton 12:01AM GMT 11 Feb 2006 ,The Telegraph.
Lisa Codrington knew her ancestors were Anglicans like her and that, almost two centuries ago, they were slaves. But she did not realise until recently that they were slaves of the Church of England.

The clue is in her name: Codrington. Slaves of British planters often took the name of their masters and, until 1710, Miss Codrington’s forebears lived on the Codrington plantation in Barbados.
After that date the Codrington lands, and the hundreds of slaves on them , became Church property.
The Codrington slaves, men like Devonshire Codrington, born in 1776 and Lisa’s many-times great-grandfather, did not become free until 1834, when the Church, like all slave-owners, was forced to release them.
Anglican culpability in the Caribbean slave trade can be traced back at least to 1710, when the planter Christopher Codrington died, leaving his 800-acre Barbados plantations to the Church’s newly-established Society for the Propagation of the Christian Religion in Foreign Parts (SPG).So Miss Codrington and her family are well-placed to comment on the Church’s apology. “It’s a good start,” said the 28-year-old actress and playwright, who was born in Winnipeg, Canada, of Barbadian parents and now works as an actress in Toronto.

“But is that all? I don’t know how I feel about the apology until I hear everything about it. Is it involving reparation? Is it involving further work, further education by the Church?”
